Dec 30 2019King Mango Strut 2019: The Roadkill band celebrated its birthday once again by playing in Coconut Grove's King Mango Strut parade on December 29, 2019. This year's parody song was "King Tide Rising," a whimsical and sarcastic look at sea level rise in Miami. The Roadkill band's first performance was in the 1994 Strut (or was it 1995?), tagging along to the end of the parade without asking anyone if it was okay (forgiveness is always easier to get than permission).
